Looking Towards 2001
WEB-mania™ is a professional source for Website planning and design that will take your business into the next millennium (maybe a cliché, but at this point we're not too ashamed to use them). But seriously, we feel by the early part of the next century a presence on the internet will become as necessary to a business as the telephone.

This doesn't mean just those businesses with a product to sell that happens to fit a certain profile for Web sales . . .this means any business. Mania can help you decide what's important to include in a Website and what's not. The following information will briefly cover some of these points:

Understanding how the internet works. First, if you're reading this you already know enough. After all, most of us don't really understand the way our automobile works, but we know how to get where we're going. Some faster than others. The same holds true with the internet . . . you only need know enough to get where you're going.

Building a Website is difficult, right? Not really, you only have to know where you want to go. This is probably the hardest part. You must decide what you want out of your Website, then figure out how to get there. Here's where WEB-Mania comes in. We can offer ideas and solutions based on your basic guidelines. E-Commerce. You've probably been hearing this term buzzing around lately. There's good reason, according to a report by IDC Research, commerce conducted over the Web will increase from $2.6 billion in 1996 to $220 billion in the year 2001 with the percentage of users who will purchase goods on the Net climbing from 25% to 39% during this same time. Some estimates have put Web sales as high as $1 trillion by 2001. What ever the actual amount -- you should be getting a piece of the action, and you could be!

My product doesn't fit an order, pay, and ship scenario. Granted, a product that doesn't require a lot of "touchy-feely" will sell on the Web easier than a product requiring customization (build-to order, etc.). Travel services, flowers, toys, and so on have traditionally done well over the Web. Even if your product needs more of a decision track, or interaction between you and your customer, E-commerce is right for you too.
